Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve

At this 1 200-hectare reserve situated in the Cradle of Humankind, a declared World Heritage Site, about 40km north-west of Johannesburg you can view more than 30 different species of animals, among them lion, and leopard, and buffalo, white rhino, zebra, eland, wildebeest, hyena and wild dog.

For day visitors picnic and braai facilities are available. There is also a small swimming pool. Or book an overnight stay in a chalet or log cabin. There are three restaurants on the property, and you can also pre-book horse trail rides, hot air balloon rides or visits to the impressive Wonder Cave, believed to be 2,2 billion years old, to see wondrous rock formations.
