Joburg's newest comedy venue The Goliath Comedy Club launches in Melrose Arch this weekend with a three night comedy festival featuring 50 top South African comics performing at four different venues. The main hub of the action is the new Goliath Comedy Club at 10A The High Street with the African Pride Hotel, Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! and The Venue Melrose Arch also serving as comedy venues during the festival.<br /> <br /> The opening night of the festival is a VIP event, while Saturday and Sunday are when the biggest acts hit the stage. On Saturday look out for top local acts such as Deep Fried Man, Marc Lottering, David Kau, Celeste Ntuli and Sifiso Nene plus some great improv from Starship Improvise. On Sunday there's also music on the bill with performances by Bombshelter Beast and star South African rapper Reason.
