In celebration of Heritage Day, the Absa Run Your City Series 2023 takes road running to another level in Johannesburg. Walkers and runners of all fitness levels can join a 10km journey that highlights iconic Joburg landmarks, accompanied by live performances. Open to all age categories, exciting new routes include sections of the M1 and M2 highways. Entries include all necessities for the walk including a water bottle, race number with timing chip, refreshment stations, route entertainment, and more.

Among the iconic City of Joburg landmarks to look out for on the day are Museum Africa, Nelson Mandela Bridge, Mary Fitzgerald Square, Gandhi Square, Absa Towers, Ponte Towers, Newtown Junction Mall, Ellis Park Stadium, Old Park Station, Heritage View and the Carlton Centre.
