In Joburg's City Centre, the Asisebenze Art Atelier (AAA) is a vibrant space championing emerging and established artists. Located in a Blue Plaque Heritage Building, it's a gallery, studio space and art dealership rolled into one, home to Mummy Khumalo, Samson Mnisi, Phanuel Shivambu and other names to know. 

On Sunday, Oct 19, from 10:00–17:00, AAA is hosting its annual open studio, an ideal opportunity to buy artworks directly from artists at less-than gallery prices. Enjoy meeting the artists themselves, gaining authentic insight into their practices and engaging with other art appreciators. AAA curator Nolan Stevens will also be hosting guided tours throughout the day. Register for the event here.
