Fear spiders? Join the "creepy-crawly guy," Jonathan Leeming for a spine-tingling talk at the Inside Out Centre for the Arts. A renowned conservationist and venomous creature expert, Leeming will unravel the myths and mysteries of arachnophobia.

Leeming will show how our irrational fears can distort our environmental beliefs and hinder creative thinking using his distinct style, boundless enthusiasm and vibrant personality. His talks consistently garner acclaim, and he has been described as insightful, passionate, and profoundly inspirational.

Discover the world of spiders, from their eerie appearances to their misunderstood bites. This event will offer a remarkable journey, revealing spiders as marvels of nature and subjects of illusion. It's a powerful analogy that delves into the impact of unchecked fear, offering a new perspective on these fascinating creatures.

A perfect activity for Halloween month.

The Inside Out Centre for the Arts was founded by renowned South African photographer Roger Ballen. His works echo that what viewers see are reactions revealing more about their subconscious thoughts, anxieties and fears than about the objective fact of what's depicted. Launched with the goal of fostering the arts in Johannesburg the centre regularly hosts exhibitions, talks and workshops around art and contemporary issues in southern Africa.
