Can I Play? is a new showcase of work by emerging artist Boemo Diale. The exhibition features monotypes and linocuts made during Diale's internship at the David Krut Workshop in 2022. It was in 2021 that Diale met David Krut and begun to think around how print could influence her practice. The title of the exhibition points to Diale's playful and child-like reflections on her inner-world as well as the experimentation inherent to printmaking. Diale says her work is "centred around manifestations of new realities and her quirky prints balance humour with issues around race and gender.
