Exclusive Books Hyde Park's contemporary restaurant and bar EB Social Kitchen hosts a special dinner and book launch with popular South African chef Lesego Semenya, who is more popularly known as Les Da Chef. The Soweto born and raised chef has a cult following on Twitter with more than 40 thousand followers who tune into catch his foodie tips and recipe advice. A big believer in "taking the snobbery out of food", Lesego mixes tips on traditional South African dishes with advice on how to plate like a Michelin chef and get to grips with fine dining techniques. 

In his debut book Dijo - My Food, My Journey, Lesego takes readers through his own personal food journey, from growing up in Soweto to training at the Prue Leith Academy and working as a chef to the rich and famous at Richard Branson's luxury safari lodge Sabie Sands. A celebration of South African cuisine and its unique flavours the book mixes recipes for classic traditional township dishes with more complex fine dining gastronomy. 

At the launch Lesego will be talking guests through a three course meal that he's cooking for the evening, with all dishes on the menu featured in the book. Booking essential.
