Throughout Heritage Month, the museum at Freedom Park in Pretoria hosts an outstanding exhibition looking back at the photographic career of one of South Africa's greatest photographers Dr Peter Magubane. On display is a huge collection of Magubane's photography, that include iconic images of struggle leaders and pivotal political moments in South Africa's history.

Accompanying the works by Magubane is an exhibition by young Joburg based photographer Viva Thabethe (aka @vivasage) who captures the cultural, spiritual and religious traditions of South African communities in vivid colour.
