Founded in 2017 by graffiti photographer and documentarian Cale Waddacor (author of Graffiti South Africa, the first South African book to put this country's graffiti scene on an international stage), DEAD TOWN is a photography collective and platform that aims to show off the work of South African photographers. Thus far DEAD TOWN has showcased the work of over 50 local photographers including self-taught rising star Andile Buka. This exhibition at Kalashnikovv is the collective's first and also marks the launch of their own fanzine, which is printed on hand-numbered silk pages.

The launch party takes place on Thu Jan 25 from 18:30 and includes live music from The Bad Ass Execs and The Moths.
