In addition to the glittering light display, Melrose Arch is pulling out all the stops with a busy programme of festive events this season. With extended retail hours until Sat, Dec 23, there's also plenty of opportunity to get all your Christmas shopping done.
Here's the line-up:
Fri, Dec 8 – Sun, Dec 31 – Enjoy sweets and treats while you stroll through Upper High Street, whether you are a child or just a kid at heart. Open from 18:30 – 22:00, you can enjoy candy floss, Paul's Homemade Ice Cream, popcorn and food truck offerings including Miha, Yummilicious and Filthy Moustache. There will also be fun activations for the kids.Mon, Dec 11 – Sun, Dec 31 – Pringles, known for their can't-stop potato chips, adds an extra layer of enjoyment to this already lively environment with an activation and play area at the Piazza from 12:00 – 20:00.
Fri, Dec 15 – The Jeppe Pipe Band will fill the air with the sound of bagpipes and drums with their performance under the twinkling Christmas lights of Melrose Arch from 19:00 – 19:45, around Square High Street and the corner of Slip and Cross Streets.
Fri, Dec 15 – Sun, Dec 24 – The kids will love this chance to get their faces painted and meet Destination Christmas characters, including Santa Claus, a snowman and the elves who will all be wandering around the precinct for pictures with kids and parents every Fri – Sun from 18:30 – 20:30.
