A fun day out in Soweto with those with green fingers and a love of home gardening, Lebo's Soweto Backpackers are hosting a Garden Day celebration at their community garden in Orlando West on Sunday October 21. The day starts with a mini-workshop on permaculture, composting, designing your own home vegetable garden and the use of herbs for cooking and medicinal purposes. You'll then be getting your hands dirty helping to plant some new veggies and the day ends with food and a fresh homemade meal using local produce and live entertainment at Lebo's Outdoor Restaurant.
