Hani is an energetic, vibrant and original production that brings to life one of South Africa's political heroes, Chris Hani. Chris Hani was a South African Communist Party leader, a soldier and anti-apartheid struggle veteran who was assassinated on his doorstep just weeks before the first democratic elections in 1994, almost sending the country into an uncontrollable spiral of violence.

Inspired by the hit American musical Hamilton, Hani is told through contemporary hip hop, rap and spoken word and stars a dynamic young cast. Presenting a fresh take on a well-known story, this production seeks to pay tribute to Chris Hani's inspirational legacy of tackling injustice and leading change.
