The Hodgins House once again opens its doors for artist Hermann Niebuhr’s newest exhibition Everything. Niebuhr continues his study of the Karoo’s arid and desolate spaces in hyper-realist paintings, with each painting superimposed with words and letters. The words are not simply descriptions of the scenes however, instead Niebuhr aims to capture the essence of the moments. Words like 'sacred', 'listen' and 'belonging' make appearances, seeking to reveal “the way to our healing, our essence, our radiance, our union.”
