Between 2011 and 2020 POPArt Theatre presented more than 500 new theatre works from its home in Maboneng and was a bastion of independent theatre in Johannesburg. The festival is a celebration of POPArt's greatest hits and features audience favourites and shows which best represented the PopArt ethos.
