In celebration of Joburg Theatre's 60th anniversary, the undisputed queen of South African pantomime Janice Honeyman makes a triumphant return to the stage with a production called the ‘Panto of All Pantos’ which sees five pantomimes in one: Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Snow White, Jack and The Beanstalk, and Peter Pan.

Honeyman has pulled out all the stops for the return to the stage of Joburg Theatre's annual pantomime and no expense has been spared in bringing together a lavish set and impressive special effects, including high-tech holograms and 3D graphics to keep your eyes intrigued through the battle between good and evil played out to retrieve the sneakily-stolen Golden Goblet of Goodness.

This year's cast includes some of South Africa's finest actors and actresses including Dylan Du Plessis, David Arnold Johnson, Didintle Khunou, Ilse Klink, Hlengiwe Lushaba Madlala, Carmen Pretorius, Brenda Sakellarides, Justin Swartz, Grant Towers, Ben Voss, Louise Duhain, Tarryn Heard, Elsje Lourens, Gareth Meijsen, Katlego Nche, René Setlhako, Thandaza Silwane, Jordan Soares, Logan Timbre, Kensiwe Tshabalala, Stephan Van Der Walt and Donovan Yaards.

Throw in some energetic choreography, catchy remakes of hit pop songs, lots of audience participation and the most dazzling, glittering sets and you have the perfect recipe for an uproariously fun festive theatre outing. Great entertainment for the whole family!
