In celebration of National Women's Month in August, Johannesburg Opera presents a concert titledHeroines in Opera and Song at Northwards House in Parktown on Sun, Aug 13. 

Allow yourself to be entertained and inspired by the opera company's repertoire. Internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Bongiwe Nakani Mcetywa and soprano Khayakazi Madlala with the accompaniment of Dr Lisa Engelbrecht (Head Coach at OperaUCT) will perform songs from Princess Magogo, the Elizabethan song cycle by Roger Quilter and Aida as well as others.
