Eastern Cape-born singer Zahara takes to the Lyric Theatre stage in the wake of the release of her fourth album Mgodi. Despite only six years in the music industry, the multi-award-winning Afro-soul songstress has become an icon of the Afro-pop scene. Her latest album Mgodi went platinum within 20 hours of release and she counts amongst her collaborators veteran American saxophonist Kirk Whalum.

This concert is one of her last performances on home soil before embarking on a US tour and Zahara is expected to perform all the biggest hits from her previous albums as well as new tracks from Mgodi.
