A group exhibition by Joburg-based artists Lindo Zwane, Sizwe Khoza and Jan Tshikuthula, Khensani takes its name from the Xitsonga word meaning “giving thanks”, with gratitude and appreciation for their backgrounds and hometowns forming a central theme. The exhibition is a continuation of Zwane and Khoza’s ongoing tribute to the sacrifices of their mothers while Tshikuthula reminisces on the joys of his childhood in rural Venda.
