Madhya Kailash Temple

The brightly coloured gods of Madhya Kailash, known as Midrand Temple are visible from the Nizamiye Mosque’s ‘special room’ or lounge. This Hindu Temple, across the railway tracks, serves a growing community and is a gathering place for special events. Dedicated to Lord Shiva the temple is served by the resident priest Guru Nadarajah Sarma. While the facebrick building in which the temple is housed is not remarkable, the vividly painted facade and temple shrines are worth visiting.
