One of Franz Kafka’s greatest novellas, Metamorphosis, comes to the University Of Johannesburg Arts Centre Theatre stage in a new, other-worldly play created by UJ students. Hailed as one of the most influential works of the twentieth century, this is an unsettling fictional story of a salesman who becomes hideously transformed one fateful night into a gigantic insect and is shunned by society. Kafka was one of the greatest novelists of his time and the performance of this century old classic brings back his literary brilliance.
