This entertaining live show is perfect holiday entertainment for young families. Momo's Magical Adventure runs from Fri, Dec 8 to Sun, Jan 7 at Sandton City, with four shows daily – except for Mondays – at 10:30, 12:30, 15:30 and 17:30. Tickets cost R50 p.p. and Momo's Magical Adventure takes place in a specially-made tent that will transform Sandton City's centre court (outside Checkers) into a world of wonder.
It's a classic tale but with a Joburg twist. Momo’s friends have left Joburg for the summer holidays to go to the sea, and she’s the only one left in the city. Time seems to pass slowly, until Momo’s favourite night of the year, Christmas Eve, arrives. What unfolds next is a bright and colourful adventure in which Momo and her best friend, Mack the Meerkat, journey into a magical snow globe. The show is filled with loveable characters, including Sandi the giant gingerbread man, who loves candy and all things dandy. Prepare to be transported into Momo’s joy-filled imaginary world, where Santa's hot air balloon is pulled by kudus.
Momo's Magical Adventure is brought to the stage by an award-winning creative team that includes a cast led by Tebogo Molepo in the title role of Momo and Justin Swartz as Mack the Meerkat. The talented ensemble, including Mlindeli Emmanuel, Ryan Smith, Noluthando Mathebula, Jordyn Schaefer and Katlego Nche, will breathe life into an array of festive characters.
