National Theatre Live At Home

London's National Theatre is streaming a play from its National Theatre Live series (usually screened in cinemas) every week online for free. Every Thursday a new play goes live online and the schedule includes some major powerhouses such as Twelfth Night, Jane Eyre and Treasure Island, starring some of the world's most famous actors and actresses.

Upcoming productions on the programme:

MAY 7-14: Anthony and Cleopatra

MAY 14-20: Innua Ellams' acclaimed Barber Shop Chronicles 

MAY 21-27: Gillian Anderson plays Blanche DuBois in the critically acclaimed Young Vic production of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire

MAY 28-JUNE 4: The classic British political satire This House 

JUN 7-11: Donmar Warehouse's production of Coriolanus starring Tom Hiddleston in the title role 

JUN 18-JUN 25: Small Island, the National Theatre’s epic, sold-out production of Andrea Levy’s novel traces the history between Jamaica and the UK through WWII to 1948.  

JUN 25-JUL 2: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, featuring Gwendoline Christie and Hammed Animashaun. 

JUL 2-JUL 9: Les Blancs, the final play by Lorraine Hansberry, directed by Yaël Farber: a brave, illuminating and powerful work that confronts the hope and tragedy of revolution.

JUL16-JUL 23: Amadeus. Lucian Msamati plays Salieri in Peter Shaffer’s iconic play about music, power and jealousy, filmed with live orchestral accompaniment by Southbank Sinfonia.
