One of the things which make Petal & Post's beautiful posies so distinctive is their natural, just 'picked straight from a country field' look, neatly wrapped up in craft paper and tied with a pastel ribbon. The weekly posies depend on what's in season. In winter you can expect lots of classic South African proteas and some special ornamental kales while summer posies pop with bright colours that might include anything from gladiolus to poppies, irises, roses, lilies and veronica.
You can choose from a regular size (R265) or a double posey (R470). There's also an option to subscribe and get a new bunch of flowers sent to you every week, fortnight or once a month, a fantastic and practical way to keep the house in bloom for anybody who is a regular buyer of flowers for the home.
In addition to flowers there is the 'Petal&Post Market’ where you can buy gifts (either individually or in combination with a bouquet). The online market place promotes proudly Made in South African products often made by small local start-ups such as scented candles and luxurious room sprays, artisanal teas and coffees, bath salts and handmade chocolates.
You can see the day's flower arrangement and order online at petalandpost.co.za. Delivery is free in Johannesburg.
