These school holidays, Sandton City is going full throttle with LEGO® F1®: Build the Thrill, a high-octane pop-up that brings the fast-paced world of Formula 1 to life with bricks, builds, and big fun. From Sat, Jul 5 – Wed, Aug 6, 2025 at the centre court (next to Checkers), fans of all ages can put pedal to plastic with custom car building zones, head-to-head timed challenges, and the chance to win LEGO® prizes.

Test your skills on the track, climb the leader board, and experience the thrill of the race – one brick at a time. It’s the perfect pit stop for master builders and mini racers alike.

While you're at Sandton City, keep the fun going with a carousel ride at Hamley's and game shopping at the only stand-alone Nintendo store in South Africa. Toy Kingdom continues to impress with its vast range of toys, while Build-A-Bear inside the store offers little ones the chance to create a customised bear, with party packages available for groups. Catch a movie at Ster-Kinekor’s dedicated kids’ cinema, where current films like Smurfs 2, How to Train Your Dragon, and Lilo & Stitch are paired with fun extras like beanbags, ball pits, and a snack station for an unforgettable experience.
