Indulge in authentic South African street food and township cuisine as the popular Soweto Kota Festival returns for its sixth year. Similar to the bunny chow, a Kota is a township sandwich made from a hollowed-out quarter bread loaf, but it's filled with a variety of meats, chips, cheeses and pickles.

Bringing together the best local Kota chefs and more than 30 vendors, the Soweto Kota Festival presents any form of Kota you can imagine. Grab a beer from the beer garden or sample local wines at the wine tasting and jam along with live music and DJs playing through the day.

A fun family day out, there's a kids play area with jumping castles, digital games and face painting.
