Another venture from musician J'Something – this time a collaborative space for casual dining, live music and theatre. J'Something (musician, cookbook author and tv show host) opened his first restaurant, Something's Cooking by J, in Times Square, Pretoria with a small menu of casual meals. 

After a limited lunch and dinner service for the first few weeks, The Artistry is now open every day of the week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu features simple delicious small plates, burgers and pizza, with a few Portuguese-inspired dishes that nod to J'Something's heritage like flambéed chouriço and garlic chili prawns. The restaurant is designed as a three-level experience: with rooftop seating, live music below, and a street-level lounge bar. If you’re making a weekend visit, make sure to book early.
