This year's annual 5km Color Run, dubbed 'the happiest 5km on the planet', takes place in Soweto. Participating in this un-timed fun run along with thousands of other people is an opportunity to raise money, express your individuality and get doused from head to toe in different colours at each kilometre of the race. Each 'Color Runner' receives a race pack which includes a T-Shirt, headband, a bag of colour powder to throw over yourself, friends or even complete strangers, temporary tattoos and your race number.<br /> <br /> The 5km run starts and ends at the University of Johannesburg Soweto campus where there's DJs, live music, food and drinks stalls, best dressed competitions and, of course, even more coloured powder..<br /> <br /> All registered Color Runners must collect their participation packs before the Color Run at UJ Soweto Campus on the Apr 21 (10:00-19:00) or Apr 22 (09:00-17:00).<br /> <br /> The Colour Run starts at 10:00.
