Set in England circa 1998 and based on British author Mark Haddon’s multi-award-winning children’s book, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time begins when 15-year-old boy Christopher Boone finds the body of his neighbour’s dog on the front lawn one evening and decides to investigate. A most unusual investigator, Christopher’s autism alternately aids and hampers his investigation as he soon finds himself in trouble with the law and embroiled in an increasingly tangled plot.
