A journey of self-discovery, a wrestling of an individual’s identity and an interrogation of culture, values and traditions. A prophet foresees that the sacrifice of Ntombizonke‘s virginity can remove a curse that has laid waste to her village's land, but can Ntombizonke find the strength to go against her culture, her family and the will of her village?<br /> <br /> This performance takes place as part of Wits Theatre's So Solo festival, a celebration of the one-man show featuring a dozen different South African plays.
