A celebration of all things bubbly, The Joburg Bubbly Festival takes over The Park House of Events on 7 in Hyde Park for three days of champagne and Cap Classique tastings, fine food and live music. Enjoy expansive views over the northern suburbs’ urban forest, while sipping on some of South Africa’s best MCC wines, French champagnes and Italian prosecco. Special treats for fans of bubbly include the opportunity to be among the first people to sample award-winning vineyard Silverthorn’s newest vintage The Jewel Box 2014 and to taste champagnes (available by the glass or bottle) from leading French vineyards like Nicolas Feuillatte.
