The Holy Family College in Parktown opens its doors for one-day-only on Saturday December 8 to host the Johannesburg Heritage Foundation's annual Christmas Book Faire. As one of the city's most impressive examples of Victorian school design, the Holy Family College site itself is a not-to-be-missed attraction for architecture aficionados. Alongside the vast selection of second-hand books for sale, there is also an exhibition of rare architectural drawings on display and festive food and drinks – think mince pies and sherry – on sale.
