A full-blown Artyli experience awaits in Sandton on Sat Jun 4 from 15:00-19:00 with the launch of the new group exhibition The Stories In-Between

Experience live jazz, delicious snacks, and a glass of wine to celebrate the opening of this latest exhibition which showcases the artwork of Andrew Ntshabele and Toni-Ann Ballenden. Also included in this exhibition is a new selection of sculptures by the world-renowned sculptor, Anton Smit. Speaking at the launch is the well-known South African artist and academic, Gordon Froud, who is the Head of Visual Arts at the University of Johannesburg.

Artyli creates a new synergy of art by combining these celebrated artists in opposing styles. Bringing together Andrew Ntshabele and Toni-Ann Ballenden this exhibition creates a compelling story for any and all viewers. Ntshabele works with figurative imagery while Ballenden’s works are deconstructed and abstract. Both artists tell a personal story about their past experiences, finding peace in the present. You are invited to invest in the artists you'll love.

Expect a vibrant afternoon, with entertainment running at the launch from afternoon until early evening. The exhibition stays on show until July 28.

Artyli Gallery is based at Nelson Mandela Square on the lower level, directly opposite the escalators to the Michelangelo Hotel.
