Every weekend, The Troyeville’s rooftop comes alive with The Hangout at The Troyeville, a diverse lineup of live music, comedy, and community – and a true celebration of Joburg’s creative spirit. From genre-bending folk to lyrical rap, avant-pop, and alt-rock, there’s a show for every kind of music lover. Here's a round-up of what’s coming up from Sun, Nov 2 – Sun, Nov 30, 2025:

Sun, Nov 30: Ashton Nyte, Will Rayz, and DJ Kerry-anne

Close out the month with an unforgettable Sunday session of darkly poetic alternative rock and bluesy tunes. Ashton Nyte, frontman of The Awakening, joins Johannesburg’s Will Rayz for a fusion of rock, jazz, and blues, with DJ Kerry-anne on the decks. Book here.

Sun, Dec 7: Radio Kalahari Orkes

Note: Security personnel are stationed at both The Troyeville's front and back entrances. Safe parking is available on Wilhelmina Street, located at the rear of the hotel. The front entrance is perfect for Uber, Bolt, and taxi drop-offs and collections.
