Recently modernised, the Armoury at Wawel Castle contains a wealth of Polish and European weaponry, military equipment and military art from the Middle Ages up to the 18th century, including some exceedingly swanky crossbows, finely decorated firearms, a frightening array of spiky pikes, swords and shields, hussar wings, cannons and replicas of the banners captured at the Battle of Grunwald.

Krakow This exhibit is rather small and not that special. By comparison the very similar exhibit at the Arsenal in Krakow is much bigger and more worthwhile.
