Efterklang is a Danish indie rock group. Its three core members are Casper Clausen, Mads Brauer and Rasmus Stolberg. Their first album Tripper was released in 2004 and received critical acclaim. In 2012, the band went on tour to present their fourth album Piramida. At its release in September, the album received good reviews: "here’s a band on top of the world, and on top of their game… Piramida is a revelation." Efterklang has a history of working with many guest musicians on their recordings, such as the violinist Peter Broderick, the percussionist Earl Harvin, the pianist Nils Frahm, the Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra and a 70 member female choir. The group is always experimenting with music and exploring new sounds.
