Organized since 2005, the Festival of Polish Music presents valuable works by Polish composers from the Middle Ages to the present day, including the premieres of works commissioned specifically for the festival. The fe­sti­val's past stars ha­ve in­c­lu­ded pia­ni­st Ivo Po­go­re­lich, worl­d-fa­mo­us vio­linist Ni­gel Ken­ne­dy, the Aca­de­my of St.-Mar­ti­n-i­n-the­-Fields, the Lon­don Sin­fo­niet­ta, as well as many Polish artists; Krzysztof Penderecki, Wojciech Kilar, Mikołaj Górecki and many others. This year's festival will host such artists as: the soloists- Ka­ro­li­na Fi­lus, Alek­san­dra Opa­ła, Ka­ri­na Tra­pe­za­ni­dou Skrze­szew­ska, Elżbie­ta Szmyt­ka, Szy­mon Ko­ma­sa, Yu­ko Na­ka, the violionist Mi­ran­da Liu, the clarinetist Krzysz­tof Grzy­bow­ski, the pianists - Ashot Ba­bro­uski, Kon­stan­tin Scher­ba­kov, Grze­gorz Bie­gas and Ca­thy Krier.
