Kraków's cool kids keep queueing out the door for Krowarzywa's cheap vegan burgers and kebabs. Choose your 'burger' patty - millet ('Jaglanex'), vegan pastrami (seitan), chickpea ('Cieciorex'), tofu, tempeh, pea protein ('Beyond Burger'), or their monthly special - pick your sauce and whether you want it in a bun, wrap or bowl, and then leave the rest to the riot grrrls on the grill, whose assembly line efficiency is something to behold. The interior is as simple as the menu, and, as if their hipster cred could possibly be in question, Krowarzywa has their own bottled yerba, kombucha, matcha and even cannabis drinks. Honestly, we eat here once a week. It's encouraging to see a place like this gain traction just off the market square, and now there's a second location in Kazimierz at Plac Wolnica 4. Check it out.
