The Museum of Engineering & Technology in Kazimierz has a range of special attractions and activities for children during the summer vacation months of July and August.

Building Zone (Strefa Klocków)

First up is the Building Zone (Strefa Klocków) at the MIT Depot (ul. Św. Wawrzyńca 15), where kids and their guardians can get creative with soft oversized blocks in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Try building an igloo, tower, bridge, stadium, castle - whatever your imagination desires. The building Zone is available Tuesday through Friday from 15:00 to 17:00, and on weekends from 14:00 to 17:00. A special ticket is required: 25zł/child, 15zł per guardian.

Summer Workshops

At the MIT Depot (ul. Św. Wawrzyńca 15) there will also be special workshops and activities for kids from Tuesday to Friday in the first two weeks of July, 12:00-15:00. Sign up with your child to particpate in workshops on papermaking (Tues), screen printing (Weds), encryption and code-breaking (Thurs), or soap and bubble-making (Fri). More info available here.

Family tours of 'City: Technosensitivity' exhibit

Designed for children 7-12 years old, these special guided tours of the permanent exhibit at the MIT Depot (ul. Św. Wawrzyńca) will take place on July 20th at 14:00, and August 10th at 14:00.
