There's opera every day here. This one by Gioachino Rossini, with a libretto by Cesare Sterbini, comes in two acts. The libretto is based on Pierre Beaumarchais's comedy Le Barbier de Séville (1775), originally an 'opéra comique', or a mixture of spoken play with music. All performed by a wonderful orchestra, choir and actors.
