Treasures of the Piast Dynasty commemorates the 700th anniversary of the coronation of Władysław I the Short, which took place on the 20th of January, 1320. It opened a new chapter in Polish history, ending once and for all the period of feudal fragmentation and ushering in the long-awaited rebirth of the Kingdom of Poland. This anniversary created an opportunity to exhibit splendid goldsmithery works and jewels from the era of Piast rule. Among the exhibited items will be precious chalices, diamond crosses, the binding of the Evangeliary of Anastazja, and many other items.
