A compact resort in the Kamniško Savinjske Alpe, near Mozirje and not far from the city of Velenje, Golte has 12km of ski slopes. Catering for both beginner and more advanced skiers, there are 4km of blue slopes (easy), 7km of red (intermediate) and finally the one kilometre long, black rated (difficult) slalom. The facilities are modern, and there's a comfortable new hotel at the foot of the slopes with two restaurants, a night club, bar, spa and gym, plus excellent business facilities. Golte offers the usual ski school/equipment rental services, and there are also a couple of mountain cottages and numerous apartments near the piste, not to mention great views of the Savinja Valley in good weather.
