Druga Godba is one of the most important (musical) festivals in Central Europe. With their concept, new approaches and (re)discovery of lesser-known musical content, they are unique in their cultural space. For more than three decades, they have been introducing and inspiring with lively artistic creativity, presenting new musical genres, with a rich range of ethnic music and its re-interpretations, and with a fusion of ethnic and modern music from all over the world. Druga Godba is well known for bringing to Ljubljana leading artists from different backgrounds and musical traditions who draw inspiration from different traditional folk musics and are committed to creative musical exploration. The line-up is sometimes even ahead of world trends. You won’t get much sleep, but that’s the point.
