This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Edi Šelhaus, one of Slovenia’s most famous wartime and post-war photo-reporters. The exhibition of his work spans six decades, from the end of the Second World War to the start of the 21st century, and is divided into four periods. The collection includes wartime and post-war documents, recordings of events during the Yugoslavia and Italy border negotiations, a selection of photographs and recordings from various events from sports, culture, politics and rural everyday life. As well as personal documents and objects there’s also film material and excerpts from audio recordings by Edi Šelhaus himself. Public guided tours with the author of the exhibition, Jožica Šparovec, are also available. Click here for details.
