Perhaps no café, or other venue, in Ljubljana is more appropriately named for the times we live in than the Hashtag Cafe. However, there's no need to fret if you don't know an Instagram from a gramophone (or simply prefer the latter), as this city centre spot still provides all of the antiquated, analogue provisions that one expects of any quality Slovene café, namely, excellent Italian coffee and cheap and plentiful beer, which also happens to be served up in a cosy, comfortable atmosphere, with plenty of stone, wood and soft-lighting. It's also dog-friendly, and there is plenty of outside seating on a quiet side street just around the corner from Slovenska Cesta.
