23 January 2022 will mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Slovenian architect, designer, urban planner and professor Jože Plečnik.


The main exhibition dedicated to the Slovenian architectural master - created in collaboration with MGML, the Faculty of Architecture UL and the Museum of Architecture and Design - will highlight Plečnik's architectural work and reveal many innovative ideas and techniques used by this versatile artist in his diverse design. It will also offer an opportunity to reflect on Plečnik's ideas and artistic views on them in the modern world of the 21st century. The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of events, including two professional symposia, and an extensive multidisciplinary catalogue with authors who will process Plečnik's heritage from different angles - architecture, history, art history, art - and perhaps present hitherto undiscovered and unknown views. to Plečnik's work.
