Blink and you’ll miss this cute hole in the wall sandwich shop on Borštnikov Trg. There may be barely space to sit down - if you are taking away Pyramid or Tivoli are great picnic spots - though it doesn’t stop Šunknžemlja from offering one of the best selection of sandwiches we’ve ever seen. Choosing what to order is seriously tricky, there are classics as well as more inventive fillings, melts and tramezzini including plenty of great options for vegans and vegetarians. Šunknžemlja also sell coffee and pastries, natural local yoghurt, fresh smoothies and craft beer.
