One of the city's coolest nightlife venues and performance spaces is once again open to the public. If you've never been to an event held in the subterranean hall beneath Ljubljana Castle, you're in for a real treat – with craggy, natural rock formations protruding from the floor, high ceilings, lots of different levels and various nooks and crannies to explore. Concerts are held every Friday evening, and genres run the gambit from jazz and blues to rock, soul, funk and world music. Admission is €7, and on performance evenings the entrance pavilion stays open till 23:30 and the funicular runs until 01:00.
