This cosy breakfast/brunch bar on pedestrianised Taczaka Street is a winner with young folks, who queue up to get in on weekends (make a reservation). In addition to great coffee, homemade lemonades, and a Basque cheesecake they're particularly proud of, the menu offers rich and elaborate breakfast sandwiches and waffles piled high with yummy toppings. If you've ever rolled your eyes at 'avocado toast,' you won't do it here, where it comes finished off with red onion, cherry toms, a poached egg and feta cheese. Our sweet and savoury 'Czikago' waffles topped with carmelised banana, bacon, a poached egg, orange-ginger reduction and blueberries was something we could maybe have made at home, but would certainly never have imagined. Vegetarians will find plenty of options as well, and this is the trendiest spot in town with the canine contingent; we were a bit embarrassed by not bringing a dog ourselves.
