Garrison Church of the Holy Cross

  ul. Szamarzewskiego 3 ,   Jeżyce         08 May 2025
This Neo-Gothic church in Jeżyce was built in 1892-94 to a design by Otto Hirt. Originally a Lutheran church named after St. Luke the Evangelist, it was taken over by the Catholics after World War II. Today it is a parish and garrison church associated with the Polish military, particularly the Air Force. Inside the dark timber ceilings and large galleries create a very peaceful and intimate atmoshere.
