The exhibition tells the story of people and events that created the centuries-long history of Poznań's Jews. Poznań’s Jewish community was one of the earliest to be established on Polish soil; the first reference to Jews living in the town comes from 1379. The exhibition presents a colourful and richly illustrated history of scholars, community activists, patrons, entrepreneurs and artists that were an integral part of the Poznań's community. It traces the history of Jewish presence in Poznań, which has been brutally ended by World War II.
